Can't create a new folder in Windows 7

A few days ago my Windows 7 Professional machine stopped displaying the "new folder" option in my right-click menu and the "new folder" button at the top of the file manager stopped working. If you're a developer like me I'm sure you have a need to create new folders in your directory structure fairly often, however having to go into DOS mode to achieve this all the time becomes annoying.

After doing some searching on the Internet to see if others have experienced this problem I finally found the solution described on the page below:

Simply follow the instructions and download and install the registry modification and the "new folder" folder functionality will work again.
